For anyone who is wondering, for decades we've had protections for citizen AND immigrant women who are victims of domestic violence by an immigrant abuser; immigrant women are protected and are not supposed to be expelled.
I don't think that will be helpful if the Convicted Felon wins -- their plan is to deport people, even if they're here legally. During their last administration, they improperly deported CITIZENS who had to fight to get back to the states. With them, law be damned.
You're right about that. It's scary. We can't let him win...but if he does, we cannot let them start deporting people. We'll need to figure out a host of ways to protect our neighbors.
After he won in 2016, we pulled out act together. I can't tell you the number of calls and emails I received saying "You've been asking me for years to register voters, canvass and get involved. I was always too busy. I'm not too busy now." We formed Indivisible Chester County and worked our hearts out with other local groups. If necessary, we'll do it again.
I can only hope we will all feel better 9 days from now. Hard to believe the GOP is dumb enough to turn the whole country against it for shutting down most of the Fed feeding trough.

Yeah... and I'm one of those Veterans who relies on the VA for my healthcare. I seriously hate, loathe, and despise republicans. Seriously.
