Moscow Mike Johnson had a bill ready to go last week, but it was pulled because it wasn’t going to come close to passing, and even if it did, it was DOA in the Senate, and President Biden said he’d veto it. So they had “conversations” over the weekend. We could go through Moscow Mike’s options, but we’ve done that before, it’s not looking good for any of his preferred options.
Why am I bringing this up AGAIN? Because of what is planned in the House for this week. Honest. They published this.

Veteran’s benefits are $3 billion short on Friday if no one acts. Perhaps they’ll take that up.
Mostly though, it should be appropriations. And it’s not. It’s “woke”.

For anyone who is wondering, for decades we've had protections for citizen AND immigrant women who are victims of domestic violence by an immigrant abuser; immigrant women are protected and are not supposed to be expelled.
I can only hope we will all feel better 9 days from now. Hard to believe the GOP is dumb enough to turn the whole country against it for shutting down most of the Fed feeding trough.
