Good news, I was out yesterday too. They only gave me names of unreached D's and I's, so I also came away feeling positive overall. I'm glad more white women are seeing through the B.S.! But just to remind you, as someone who is a bit older than you and a middle boomer, older boomer women were well into their '20s when Roe was decided. They grew up when sex was dangerous. Unless they were wealthy enough to get to New York, had access to a liberal psychiatrist (my friend's older sister convinced one she would kill herself), or lucky enough to to have a safe illegal abortion, the years of the sexual revolution were still fraught for women and girls.

YES BUT!!!! They were there for Roe, and they do NOT like returning to what they knew from before Roe.

What do you say to those who are undecided or not voting for Harris because of Gaza, Jessica? Bernie Sanders told Ali Belsher (sp?) that Trump was “in bed with Netanyahu” and would be far worse on this issue. Trump has told Netanyahu to “finish the job.” Yet none of that seems to persuade these voters.

I had gotten this question before -- if you scroll to the bottom of the post, and read my response to Sharon, you'll see my outline. https://docjessdcw.substack.com/p/betting-markets-and-actual-voters/comment/73470372

In addition, I give them this article, https://znetwork.org/znetarticle/arizona-palestinian-arab-muslim-and-progressive-democrats-and-community-leaders-statement-on-presidential-election/ which we go through together (I didn't have it when I first started talking to people.)

I have had success -- although it's multiple conversations. I have had success with 8 households, and was unable to convince 2.

Call me if you want more details.

Thanks! I was in England and Spain from Oct 4-22 and think I missed a few of your posts.

What a great vacation! Hope you had a lot of fun and ate great food. Let me know if you need more info -- no matter what happens tomorrow, the need to deescalate the Gaza issue is something we're all going to need to work towards.

You're like the Eveready Battery Bunny. Go girl! Wish I still had that kind of energy. I'm lucky to stay awake.

I do NOT have that kind of energy. I've just returned from my second foray, and I walked almost 3 1/2 miles today. My hips hurt, my knees have given up, my legs are rubbery and it will take DAYS to recover. What I have is NOT energy -- it is the visceral commitment that I will do EVERYTHING I can, even if it kills me, because it's that important.

Honest, I'm not, but thank you. And also, again, thank you for the bulletin board -- I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY.
