As usual, you’ve stated everything correctly (and thanks for reminding me of Allan Lichtman-I heard his analysis and then forgot his name). All the people whose analysis and intelligence I most respect are supporting Biden’s continued candidacy. As I read through various contra opinion pieces they are filled with unsupported innuendo, logical fallacies and, utter fabrications.

Thank YOU for knowing about Allan Lichtman. As for the "contra opinion" pieces...I try to understand their motivation. The most recent argument I've heard is "it's good to be able to DISCUSS -- because that is important in a free society, as opposed to the MAGA follow blindly approach." I have been thinking about this since I heard it last night.

Yes, it's important to discuss, but the word "discuss" indicates that a decision has not yet been arrived at yet. Reaching a conclusion first invalidates any ensuing confabulation.

I like that Joe Biden is holding his ground -- saying if someone wants to come at him, let him/her submit their name for consideration in Chicago. It's a solid step. For a lot of us who voted for Biden in the primary, WE MEANT IT, and deserve that our voices are heard. I'm attending a local political picnic next week, and some of the delegates I voted for will be there, and I intent to ask if they are committed to representing the voters who put them there.
