The Biden Pardon

I am appalled, not at the pardon, but at the response

I keep hearing how President Biden’s pardon of his son was unacceptable, that Joe Biden is a liar, and that this “gives” the Orange Menace “permission” to do all sorts of things.

These people are nuts.

It's not that Hunter Biden got a harsher sentence — it's that NO ONE ELSE in the history of the United States has ever been charged with a felony for making an error, while high as a kite, on a gun permit application.

The sheer hypocrisy and both-sides-ism of not just the Rethuglicans, but the Democrats who agree, and the vast majority of the supposedly impartial media is sickening, offensive, and morally bankrupt.

A FELON CONVICTED OF DOZENS OF CRIMES WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Where is THAT outrage? He is endeavoring to fill his cabinet with people who are uniquely unqualified to empty ashtrays at a bar, much less run an agency. Some of them are felons — like Jared's dad, who was pardoned by the Orange Menace and is now being sent to what is left of France (it looks like the government will dissolve on Wednesday) as a slap in the face to Macron. "It's one of the most loathsome, disgusting crimes that I prosecuted...and I was the U.S. attorney in New Jersey."

Joe Biden's one and only error in this regard was to have said that he wouldn't pardon Hunter. That's it. And you can't have it both ways -- either he knew what he was doing and he lied for the sake of lying, or he's the doddering old fool that these same people have held him up to be. (I think he just changed his mind in the light of the promised continual harassment and prosecution from Kash Patel.)

That's all I can say now. Ask me tomorrow and I'll tell you how I really feel about these incredibly dishonest people who aren't fit to be a piece of gum on the bottom of my shoe.
