I was on Market St for most of it, so couldn’t hear the speakers, but it mattered not. We had the honor of greeting all the vehicles- and traffic was constant. Lots of honking and waving, clapping, and signs held out windows as they drove by! ‘Sell your car!’ was how t’s were acknowledged.

It was an amazing, wonderful event. I don't think there were 6000 people there, but that doesn't matter. There were so so many people, all caring, all committed, all people I enjoyed spending time with and hope to see again.👍

Even though the country and the day are gloomy, the protestors who came to CC Courthouse were very energetic and kind. Someone put this on YouTube.

Can you address what may happen on April 20. A report is coming which may recommend using the Insurrection act. Then he will be emboldened to fire on us. https://www.thebulwark.com/p/will-trump-invoke-the-insurrection-act-1807-southern-border

No, I can't. Yes I know about it, and I know more than is in your link. I won't write. If you want to discuss, call me on Signal, not a regular phone.

We had thousands - THOUSANDS!!! - in our little suburb of Beaverton, Oregon! It was a sight to behold. From young parents with babies in strollers and baby slings to old people in wheelchairs - and all colors and nationalities! There was a minimal police presence, but they had smiles on their faces and seemed totally at ease and supportive of the protestors and the message.

My niece and nephew were in Portland where there were so many thousands they marched across the Morrison Bridge, streets were closed everywhere because of the incredible throngs of people, and, again, the crowds were all people, all ages, all colors.

It was also a glorious, sunny day - a rarity for the PNW this time of year - and it was very much an upbeat and positive demand for the taking back of our country.

The signs were fabulous! So much creativity, sarcasm, humor, and actual FACTS about the harm these assholes have created.

It was a great day, indeed!

I was really glad to be there. I needed a nap when I got home, but it didn't hurt me in any way. Thanks for caring, Unc.

I'm so glad you made it there, Jessica!! It was wonderful to see soooo many people out there so engaged (and enraged!)! At the March for Our Lives rally, they said there were 1000-1500 people. It seemed there were at least 2x as many today.
