Really hoping you are right but still uncomfortable with the thought that all too many men can't envision a woman as President; worse yet, the same goes for all too many women.

I'm as worried as you are. When you look at history, whether you supported them or not, Catherine the Great, Golda Meir, Theresa May, Indira Gandhi, Evita Peron, Corazon Aquino, Mary Robinson, Jacinda Ardrin, -- and that's in the past. More than 2 dozen nations are currently led by women.

And it's not just leaders -- how often do we forget that women can be doctors, lawyers, corporate CEOs and CFOs?

I hope this election will change things. I'm encouraged by anecdotal evidence. Canvassers who go up to houses with Trump signs in the yard and are told "We're voting Harris, I just don't want the neighbors to know." The large contingent of golf carts with Harris-Walz signs at The Villages going to cast early votes. The HUGE early vote in Georgia yesterday -- I doubt that was a lot of MAGA-heads.
