ME TOO!! I'm a credentialed journalist. I never did this full time, only as a sideline - but I've interviewed several hundred people over the last 30 years, and I always endeavor to hit the issues, do follow-up questions, and work to elicit something from the interviewee that other people wouldn't think of going after. It's heartbreaking to me that they don't ask appropriate questions of the Convicted Felon. If I were one of tonight's moderators, my very first question to him would be "who won the 2020 presidential election?"
No matter how many times I see it, no matter what is going on at the time, I cry with pride (I guess "pride") at what people did in the name of freedom.
When I take people to the Constitution Center who are not from the area and don't know Philly, I walk them over to the plate glass windows on the second floor (or the abutting terrace if it's open) and point down the mall to Independence Hall and explain what occurred in the Hall, and then tell them that every single man who worked on the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution, and all the people from the Boston Tea Party forward, men and women, boys and girls, were guilty of treason against the crown. That they risked their lives, and sometimes gave their lives, so that today, we can breathe free. And I hope that's still true after November 5th.
Jessica, i am so sick about our journalists and their wimpy interview practices.

Holding my breath and hoping for the best. The Harris-Walz campaign needs the stimulus of an informative and relatively error free VP performance.
And may the first question to the Convicted Felon be: "Who won the 2020 presidential election?"
I, too, cry at “Freedom Rising,” especially now that it seems freedom is slipping away and we might not be able to keep our republic.
