You never told me that story about you and Cory Booker. Are you sure he isn't Jewish? He surely practices the primary mitzvah of Tikon Olam: do whatever little you can to make the World a better place.
Thanks for the info. I was really unfamiliar with Booker's history but there was something about some of the statements he made during the 25+hour marathon that caused me to expect that he had a real knowledge of Jewish "mitzvot" (religiously required good deeds).
Thanks! This is the year that we need to think outside the box. The party - nationally and locally is fighting a war with Abrams tanks, and we need to be using drones. It seems it's always about the money, which USED to be telling. But it isn't anymore -- now it's about changing hearts from "I don't know and I don't care" to engaged people (especially young people) and that means getting our message and our candidates out to meet EVERYONE -- not just those who can spend $100 for a fundraiser ticket. If CCMF wants to do some out of the box things -- call me and let's brainstorm.
Love Booker as well. I first met him while I was driving in Obama’s motorcade. Charming, intelligent, committed and easy on the eyes! I hope we’ll be seeing more of him.

Cory Booker's best friend is an orthodox rabbi. I pulled a few articles for you...

Your footnote about the $5 coffee and cookie event idea is absolutely brilliant.

In my mind, there is NO REASON he shouldn't lead the party -- take over for Chuck, get on TV daily - be our VOICE! (And then our next president!)
Love Booker!
