Using this rationale; why would a high power lawyer be a trumper listening to only Fox News & argue the R litany not accepting fact checked info? This person is not stupid.
First, not all lawyers are smart. Look at people like Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman and the crew who are now all disbarred. I don't know what criteria you use to say "this person is not stupid."
Second, there is a group of MAGA supporters who would BENEFIT from his election -- generally very rich people, and people who benefit directly from other policies. Whenever you have a dictator, there are always a number of supporters -- in war, we call them collaborators. For a lawyer, it may well be the opportunity to serve at DoJ, or get a clerkship, or a judicial posting. These people are, in certain ways, WORSE than the morons because they are only interested in collaborating with pure evil.
A very uncomfortable truth about the country we have become. Worse yet, the politicians who depend on this societal structure are desperately trying to destroy our public education system thereby assuring further dumb downing of our polis.
Yes and yes. But that's only the beginning. I recall writing a report > a decade ago about early intervention services, and was stunned to learn that the cost per child in Forest county was nearly $100,000 per child (most recent data = 35 children served) as opposed to an average of $5,000 in Philadelphia. The services include occupational, physical and speech therapy, etc. The services are difficult to deliver in rural areas, but under IDEA it is a right of all children who need it. I wonder if these families and communities understand the true cost of public services delivered by the state and federal governments. At any rate, I am not worrying about Forest county votes: the number of Trump votes in Chester county will be far more numerous than the couple of thousand in Forest county.

There is no excuse.
