This post is for my own amusement. Sometimes I do that…
First, this is my favourite political bumper sticker of all time:
It’s from 1991. It was a state race.
If you are the first person to provide the race, the candidates, the winner, and the name of the guy in the photo in the comments, I will gift you your choice of a $25 gift certificate to either the WaWa or Amazon. If you prefer, I will give $25 to the charity of your choice.
All to amuse myself.
Next Up: A Voter Engagement Story
The other evening, I was at the CVS picking up some meds. The guy behind me in line was incredibly far back, likely because I was in an N95, so I said: “Don’t worry, I’m harmless.”
Guy: “I’m harmless, too.”
Me: “And I’m a voter.”
Guy: “Me too - who are you voting for?”
Me: “Vice President Kamala Harris. And you?”
Guy: “I’m not sure.”
Me: “Have you heard about Project 2025?”
We spent about 10 minutes together, and he gave me his email address, and I sent him my standard info package on Project 2025 and Agenda 47.
He emailed me back today and said he and his wife looked at some of the material and his WIFE told him to reach out so that I could sign them both up to work on the Harris campaign.
And Finally…
This is a video from 2012. I saw it for the first time on the big screen at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. Found it later on YouTube, and I have watched it many times since. It gives me strength. It makes me proud and happy. I worked my heart out for Obama in both 2008 and 2012. (And yes, boy oh boy oh Chef-Boy-Ar-Di do I have stories…)
I was not fired up in 2016 nor 2020. I worked, but I didn’t have the joy, the hope, the bursting heart of the Obama campaigns.
Watch the video. Remember.
I feel that same enthusiasm for the Harris campaign.
I am FIRED UP!
I am READY TO GO!
And I know I’m not alone.
Now - GO GET ME A VOTER!!!!
Love and peace - see you Sunday.
Your enthusiasm is catching. Np vaccine will stop it.

Love the video!! Obama has been giving me goosebumps since the convention in 2004 when I told my husband that man would be our next president.
